‘Little Monk’ Becomes a Sensation in Shandong Temple

While thousands of visitors travel to Dinglin Temple in Rizhao, east China’s Shandong Province, to witness a golden autumn, the attention has shifted this season – the temple’s center of attraction is a little boy.
Dubbed as the “little monk,” the boy in his traditional Buddhist robe and beads has become some sort of a sensation, as visitors took photos of him in different poses.
It seems that the “little monk” had added a playful ambience in this quaint temple that dates back to over 1,500 years during China’s Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589).
